Generator electrical The 230V plug on the generator.I plug in the 4-wire plug.no voltage from the ground wire to either the white, black or red wire, but 115V between the white and black and white and red.230 volt between red and black. There are two breakers on the gen,one for each 115V wires.I wire the black to one hot bus bar and the red to the other hot bus bar,the white and bare copper ground wire to the neutral bus.I can only get115V to either side, one or the other breaker on the generator trips and only supplies 115V to house.I can't get 230V.I have a pole barn where the gen is hooked. From the pole barn to the house js underground cable to the utility pole, from the utility pole to the house panel. Why can't I get 230V without blowing the breaker on the gen.I tried bothsides together, but always one breaker trips
